Golden Globes Presents Heartfelt "Epstein Islanders" Tribute
The segment moved the live audience to tears and left everyone else aghast.
Hollyweird, CA - This year’s Golden Globe Awards took a moment during their prestigious awards ceremony to honor a group of totally fictitious celebrities linked to disgraced sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and his treacherous island where unspeakable crimes took place.
The segment began accompanied by a lush, elegant orchestra. "We would like to take a moment to remember those who have been unfairly and humorously accused of being associated with 'you know who,'" said host Jimmy Lemmik, wearing a hockey jersey with the "Epstein Islanders" logo emblazoned on the front.
The audience was treated to a slideshow of these Epstein Islanders featuring their most embarrassing moments, complete with nickname captions such as "Captain Underage," "Pedo-Pete," and "The Inappropriate Touchy-Feely."
"We're so glad the Golden Globes are taking the time to honor these fictional characters who have been linked to such heinous crimes," said one audience member, wiping away tears of joy.
The commemoration concluded with a heartfelt rendition of The Police song "Don't Stand So Close to Me," performed by two non-fictional Bills: Bill Clinton and Bill Gates, followed by an encore of Nirvana's "Rape Me." The audience was in stitches.
"It's great to see the Golden Globes taking a stand against fake news and honoring these God-like celebrities," said another audience member, sporting a Free Ghislaine t-shirt.
The Golden Globe Awards' "Epstein Islanders" tribute segment may not have been the typical awards show affair, but it certainly left a lasting impression as one of the most memorably tone-deaf moments in the history of Hollyweird satire. How on Earth did the Song: "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" Eurythmics- Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart not be the lead for conclusion of the commemoration? Somebody Royally dropped the proverbial balls at the Golden Globes.
I thought the award for most dramatic exit was fitting. Epstein deserved it. McAfee was a total copy cat and should not have even been in the running.
