They allow citizens to vote, have some semblence of a legislative process, and have judicial systems to afjudicate disputes, but only the United States has a Bill of rights that protects free speech. Remember how fast individual liberties were thrown under the bus during covid. They were in this country as well but in the end, the 1st amendment to the Constitution prevaled. That wasn't the caseut in the other pseudo democracies. When government gets to decide what speech is allowed and what is not, then you are already in a toletarian system whether it's concealed in a sllk glove or not.

In the examples I’m familiar with, these are not Real ID federally compliant licenses. That means holders cannot use them to register to vote or even board a commercial flight. The penalties for voting when you are not qualified are pretty serious. No sane person would run the risk of being caught just so they can add one vote to the tally. The DeSantis Vote Police in Florida have found only a handful of violators after months of work, mostly excons who mistakenly thought they were allowed to register. Please use your common sense. This is a non-issue. Worry about a real problem like bought and paid for politicians allowing pollutants into your drinking water or the air you breath (but that’s the point of getting people worked up about illegal aliens and their supposed voting).
Free speech hasn’t won in the courts every time in the US and the FBI is going to people’s homes to “talk” about their Social Media posts when they don’t like the posts.
