New Pride Flag Design Causes Epileptic Seizures
Doctors are studying the phenomenon cause by the cluttered, chaotic mess.
The newly redesigned LGBTQIA+ Pride flag has sparked a widespread wave of epileptic seizures across the nation, leaving officials scrambling for answers and designers feeling guilty. The once colorful and iconic rainbow has now become such a chaotic mess of colors, symbols, and ideologies, including some weird umbrella, that a segment of viewers are overcome with wild, violent physical convulsions.
The flag, originally designed to represent the interests of gays and lesbians, has recently undergone a radical transformation to include every conceivable subgroup and cause, regardless of relevance. The addition of groups that have nothing to do with sexuality has turned the once straightforward flag into a dizzying kaleidoscope.
"It's like staring into a rainbow tornado while riding a roller coaster blindfolded," remarked one unfortunate victim. "I support diversity and all, but this is just too much for my poor brain to handle."
Experts are pointing to the rapid expansion of the flag's design as the primary culprit behind the seizures. "The human brain can only process so much visual information before it starts short-circuiting," explained Dr. Ilene Ulik, a neurologist specializing in sensory overload. "It's akin to playing a video game with flashing lights at hyper-speed—eventually, something's got to give."
What started as a well-intentioned effort to be inclusive has spiraled into a political and ideological statement that fails to represent the wide spectrum of views within the LGBT community. "I'm a gay man, not a walking collage of random symbols," remarked one activist. "This flag doesn't speak for me or many others who just want to live our lives without being bombarded with virtue signaling."
Unfortunately, the fallout from the flag fiasco doesn't end with seizures and identity confusion. Recent surveys suggest that acceptance of gays and lesbians, which had been steadily improving over the years, is now on the decline. "It's a classic case of pushing too far," remarked one social psychologist. "Radical activists pushing agendas without regard for boundaries or the broader community are doing more harm than good."
Perhaps most concerning is the impact on younger generations. Parents are expressing growing concerns over the grooming and indoctrination of children into ideologies and lifestyles by activist teachers, giving inappropriate, sexual books to minors in the name of inclusivity. "I just want my kids to learn science and math, not that they can choose their gender and pronouns," lamented one parent in a heartfelt social media post.
As over-zealous designers and activists grapple with the unintended consequences of their efforts, one thing is clear—the road to true acceptance may require a simpler, more focused approach that respects diversity without overwhelming the senses. Until then, it might be wise to have an attendant or guardian present when encountering the new Pride flag. What are your thoughts on the new design, and do you feel it's become too political? That's what happens when you fail to police your own movement and accept 'allies' willy nilly.
I’ve read many comments on social media lamenting this (what they consider) highjacking of their movement, their expression of their identities. Some are very vocal about what is going on (see Gays Against Groomers on X, for example) and are extremely distressed about the movements focus on children!
