Kyiv, Ukraine – In a surprising twist of international diplomacy, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reportedly reached out to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week for advice on a rather unconventional topic: how to panhandle effectively on the world stage. Sources close to the Ukrainian leader say Zelenskyy, once a comedian before taking the helm of a war-torn nation, is looking to sharpen his skills in "strategic begging" as foreign aid slows to a trickle.
The call, which allegedly took place over a glitchy Zoom connection due to spotty power in Kyiv, began with Zelenskyy praising Netanyahu’s knack for securing billions in U.S. military aid year after year. “Bibi, my friend,” Zelenskyy reportedly said, “you’ve got this guilt-trip game on lock. Teach me your ways—I’m down to my last pair of cargo pants here!”
Netanyahu, flattered but characteristically stoic, is said to have offered a masterclass in what he dubbed “Geopolitical Panhandling 101.” Step one, according to the Israeli PM: “Always mention the Holocaust, even if it’s unrelated. Works like a charm.” When Zelenskyy countered that Ukraine’s historical traumas don’t quite carry the same weight in Washington, Netanyahu suggested an alternative: "Try promising you'll never dance again in high heels and leather chaps. That just might do the trick."
The exchange took a lighter turn when Zelenskyy asked for tips on props. “Should I bring a bombed-out tank to the next NATO summit?” he asked. Netanyahu, ever the seasoned pro, advised against it. “Too heavy. Go for something portable—a charred teddy bear or a babushka’s scarf. Tug those heartstrings, Volodymyr, but keep it TSA-compliant.”
Insiders say Zelenskyy took notes furiously, pausing only to ask if Netanyahu’s signature furrowed brow was a natural gift or a practiced move. “It’s 50% genetics, 50% plotting death and destruction for 30 years,” Netanyahu replied, with a rare chuckle.
The Ukrainian leader’s pivot to panhandling lessons comes as no surprise to analysts. With Russia’s war dragging into its third year and an impatient Trump pulling the purse strings, Ukraine’s coffers are drier than a Hakeem Jeffries speech. “Zelenskyy’s gone from action-hero photo ops to busking for bullets,” remarked one EU diplomat, who spoke anonymously because he’d already donated his lunch money to Kyiv’s latest crowdfunding campaign.
Netanyahu, meanwhile, is said to be basking in the new role of mentor. “He told Zelenskyy to call him anytime—except Shabbat,” a source close to the Israeli PM dished. “Bibi’s already drafting a follow-up lesson: ‘How to Turn a Ceasefire into a Cash Cow.’”
As for Zelenskyy, he’s reportedly workshopping his new pitch ahead of a rumored U.S. tour. Early drafts include lines like:
“Hand over the billions—no laundering here, just a guy in cargo pants trying to keep the lights on and the bombs dropping on the right side.”
“I won’t snort the budget or stash it in Panama—my only addiction is kicking Russian ass, and that’s pricey enough.”
“Let's get this war done so I can go back to dancing in heels and playing piano with my pirozhki.”
Whether it’ll work remains to be seen, but one thing’s clear: the Ukrainian president is ready to take his beggar’s game to the next level—with the help of another notorious US aid recipient. Ukraine DESPERATELY Regretting Not Signing 2022 Peace Deal!—The Jimmy Dore Show
Z’lnzky even lost his South Carolina senator. Hard times indeed. 😑
Started laughing just reading the title...good job.
As for Zelensky, his behavior was perfectly rational. He threw his lot in with the Neo-cons, lost the Donbas (which Russia was to let Ukraine keep in the Minsk I & II Accords), has over a million Ukrainians killed in this useless proxy war and knows if peace and accountability comes then he will be the scapegoat and fat chance he'll be able to keep the US funds he's squirreled away in his wife's Paris Rothschild Bank account. He gave it his best whining shot, failed and is now irrelevant.
