Presidential Debate Moderator Starts "News Dudes for Harris"
The group consists of male news anchors who support Kamala Harris, but assures viewers it has no impact on election coverage nor debate integrity.
In a move that has shows just how brazen the media has become with its bias, ABC News anchor and recent presidential debate moderator David Muir announced the formation of a new advocacy group, “News Dudes for Harris.” The organization, taking inspiration from the recent “White Dudes for Harris,” includes a veritable who’s-who of male news anchors from various mainstream media outlets, and is devoted to supporting Kamala Harris’ presidential bid. However, Muir has reassured the public that this move in no way impacts his ability to remain an impartial and fair journalist.
“We're just a group of guys who believe in her vision for the future," Muir stated during a press conference, while sporting a custom-made “Vote for Democracy" lapel pin. "But let me be clear: our radical, overt activism has absolutely no bearing on our journalistic integrity nor our coverage of the election. Believe me. I swear on the ghost of Ruth Bader Ginsberg."
The founding members of "News Dudes for Harris" include prominent anchors from nearly every major network, such as CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer, and ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos. Though all of them have pledged unwavering support for Harris, they insist that their reporting and moderating roles remain objective.
Muir, who co-moderated the recent presidential debate alongside fellow anchor and Kamala's sorority sister Kinsey Davis, is already facing allegations of bias in the aftermath of the event. Many debate analysts have pointed out that Muir and Davis seemed to have an unusually keen interest in “fact-checking” one candidate—Donald Trump—while largely leaving Harris untouched. It was also rumored that the pair were overheard making love in Davis' office while a speech of Kamala played in the background, not to mention the Trump-head dartboard that was found in the aftermath.
"I’m not saying they had a pro-Harris agenda," remarked one political analyst, “but when Trump mentioned the unemployment rate, they practically pulled out a calculator. Meanwhile, when Kamala claimed that she personally ended inflation by spreading pure joy, they damn near applauded.”
Another observer noted the moderators’ bizarre habit of thanking Harris profusely after every answer. “It was like they were wrapping up a PBS pledge drive,” they said. “I kept waiting for Muir to hand her a commemorative tote bag. I was half expecting them to ask her if she’s too awesome or just the right amount.”
In response to the uproar, Muir and Davis have assured viewers that they remain “totally committed to fairness and journalistic integrity,” before busting out laughing. Meanwhile, "News Dudes for Harris" is expected to ramp up its campaign efforts, purportedly without affecting election coverage—unless you count the barrage of subliminal messaging and outright propaganda.
While the debate has sparked laughter, outrage, and conspiracy theories across social media, it has also reignited a crucial discussion about the role of fairness and neutrality in debates. Many have pointed out that this year’s debates—like so many before them—excluded third-party and independent candidates, leaving voters with limited options. American democracy would certainly benefit from including more voices on the stage. If nothing else, the absurdity of watching moderators openly cozy up to one candidate serves as a reminder that the media is out of touch and indifferent to the public's perception. Perhaps it’s time for them to take a step back—and let the people decide who gets the last word. In the meantime, voters can rest assured that debate moderators will continue to uphold the time-honored journalistic tradition of pretending not to play favorites—while waving pom-poms just out of frame. You might actually name it truthfully. Those guys are all fops, and they sure as hell ain’t dudes. How about white fags for Harris. There you go.
If this is the case then that debate is to be considered balderdash. It gives the aroma of the fix was in. This was a WWE operation! Journalism is totally been lost as a profession. This is so 'agendaized' at this point that we must question all that we are watching! Integrity, honesty, truth ethics and morals are totally antiquated. That is terrible news to hear this.
